it’s finally done

There’s something about summer in Berlin — the light feels different, softer yet more alive. The city hums with a certain energy, and everything seems to move just a little slower, as if time itself takes a deep breath. For Lilienthal Berlin’s summer campaign, we wanted to capture exactly that: the feeling of a moment suspended between movement and stillness.

Lilienthal Berlin is a watch brand rooted in the spirit of the city — minimal, sustainable, and quietly confident. Their pieces are designed in Berlin and made in Germany, combining clean design with ethical craftsmanship. Each watch feels timeless, yet deeply connected to the present, just like the city it was born in.

For this shoot, I met Ruby, an Australian model who was spending a few months in Berlin. There was something effortless about her — the way she moved through the streets, curious and unguarded. We decided to skip the studio and let the city be our backdrop. The streets of Mitte and Kreuzberg became our playground: cobblestone corners, warm light reflecting off the old façades, bicycles passing by.

There was no strict plan — just intuition and the freedom to respond to whatever the city gave us. Ruby wore pieces from Lilienthal’s new collection, the kind of watches that don’t just tell time but invite you to notice it — the pause between breaths, the way sunlight hits your wrist, the quiet moments in between.

As the day unfolded, we found ourselves laughing, chasing light, and taking breaks at small cafés. What started as a quick shoot turned into something more like a conversation between two strangers and a city that never really stands still.

In the end, that’s what this campaign became about — taking the moment, capturing time, and finding beauty in the ordinary rhythm of a Berlin summer.
